Chipbreaker tools " break" the chip to even smaller chips, reducing power consumption and vibration. Chipbreakers are staggered on each flute to produce a smooth cut, but in some situations may leave a visual line. These tools are recommended for hardwood and plywood and dense materials where higher feed rates are required.
