-135° split point self centers and easily starts with no pilot hole required.
When drilling steel with 1/8" or greater thickness, a starter hole of the smallest step diameter will speed the drilling process.
Titanium nitride coated tools last six times longer than uncoated tools. Cutting edge stays sharper longer. Titanium nitride coating reduces friction.
