The California triple chip grind is the choice in the door and window manufacturing industry, and in framing shops everywhere. Its cuts are crisp and clean in wood, ACM (Aluminum Composite Materials) such as Alucobond®, Dibond®, Durabond®, etc., and burr-free in aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. This blade has a very high tooth count, a 5° negative hook, and a stout plate for smooth cuts and a long tool life. It works in miter saws, compound miter saws, and sliding compound saws.
Warning: NEVER attempt to cut ferrous metals (steel, iron, etc.) with these saw blades. When cutting non-ferrous metals, a coolant or blade wax should be used and proper clamping devices employed.
